Overview of Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Coordinator to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis. This role is central to ensuring the smooth coordination and management of our key databases and supporting our communications. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise and creativity.
Part-time: 10.5 hours/1.5 days a week
6 month contract
Duties of Post
Database Management
- Support management of Cork Deaf Association profile on the HSE National Ability Support Service database and our internal Salesforce system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GDPR.
- Perform regular database audits, troubleshoot issues, and oversee updates or enhancements and generate reports as required.
Website Management
- Assist in updating website.
Newsletter Coordination
- Manage the production and distribution of quarterly newsletter.
Social Media & Event Coordination
- Support in the management of social media platforms and social media campaigns.
- Support in the coordination of webinars and Eventbrite activities.
- Assist in creating and managing social media content.
Design and Branding
- Assist in creating and maintaining consistent graphics and branding through various communication channels.
Person Specification
Essential Requirements
- Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, with an ability to learn new databases quickly.
- Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Experience with design programmes like Adobe Express or similar.
- Demonstrable experience managing social media platforms and creating campaigns that engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent technical skills.
- Strong creative skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience of or interest in the Deaf Community and Deaf Culture.
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance and best practices for data management.
- Previous experience working in a nonprofit or charity setting.
- An eye for analytics and the ability to derive insights from data.
Knowledge of Deaf Issues/Irish Sign Language is an advantage
Terms
- Hours: 10.5 hours per week (one and a half days)
- 6 month contract
- Location: Hybrid – remote and in Cork Deaf Association office
- Salary: €5,414, for 6 month period
